PRINTS 4 UKRAINE

Led by Ukrainian Canadian photographers Kyler Zeleny, Anya Chibis and Marta Iwanek, dozens of documentary, fine art and commercial photographers from across Canada have donated prints to this online fundraiser, in addition to Ukrainian colleagues from across Ukraine. Donors are asked to make a $100 donation to a selection of grassroots and established organizations currently working in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin began his invasion. Just show them your receipt and pick your image, which they'll print as an 11x14 archival quality print to be mailed your way in December.

KYLE CANNIFF

This Edmonton-born comic runs a variety of shows within the city and loves to do his part to help build-up the local comedy scene. Blending a mix of lived experience and bizarre communication, Kyle continues to explore jokes about being adopted, his First Nations identity, headlines of a strange world, finding Bigfoot and making fun of TV, crafting it all into an enjoyable act sure to bring the laughs. This edition of The Stand Up Show, which runs every Friday, also features Jules Balluffi and master of ceremonies Simon Gorsak.

YOU WON'T BE ALONE (2022)

Set in an isolated mountain village in 19th century Macedonia, Goran Stolevski's new folkloric film follows a young girl who is kidnapped and then transformed into a witch by an ancient spirit. Curious about life as a human, the young witch accidentally kills a peasant and then takes her victim's shape to live life in her skin. Her curiosity ignited, she continues to wield this horrific power in order to understand what it means to be human. 108 mins.
